Shipping Policy

Freight Shipping

At WRENCHYARD, we offer a range of products that are too large or heavy for standard shipping services. These items are shipped via freight carriers, and we choose the carrier based on what best suits the shipment.

Freight deliveries are made to the curb at your address. The delivery driver is not responsible for moving items inside your home or to specific locations. If an item is heavy or bulky, we recommend arranging assistance to help with moving it.

While we work to ensure smooth delivery, freight shipping can sometimes experience delays due to factors beyond our control. As such, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates or times.

Lead Times

Orders placed Monday through Friday are processed promptly. Orders received on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) are typically handled on the next business day, usually Monday.

In-stock items are usually shipped within 2-3 business days after processing. Items on backorder may require additional time before they can be shipped.

While lead times listed on the website are as accurate as possible, they are estimates and may be affected by changes in supply or unforeseen circumstances.

Order Confirmation

When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that your order has been successfully submitted to our system. At this stage, your credit card is pre-authorized for the purchase. We then verify the item's availability with our suppliers to confirm it can be shipped promptly.

If the item is unavailable or on backorder, the pre-authorization will be canceled, and we will notify you via email. If the item is confirmed to be available for shipment within 5 business days, the charge will be processed, and the order will be prepared for shipping.

Order Shipment

For in-stock items, once your payment has been processed, your order will generally ship within five business days. Tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout within 24 hours of the order leaving the warehouse.

If you do not receive tracking details within six business days, please contact us at support@wrenchyard.com, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

No Shipping Outside the USA

Please note that shipping is only available within the United States.

Changing Address

If an order has already been processed or shipped and you need to modify the address, we will do our best to accommodate the change. However, please be aware that address alterations may result in delays. Any additional fees incurred from these changes, as required by our freight partners, will be the responsibility of the customer without exception.

Shipping Times

All shipping times provided are estimates and not guaranteed. While we work closely with our vendors to ensure timely shipping, if a customer chooses to cancel an order due to a delay beyond the estimated timeframe, they will be responsible for any associated shipping costs, fees, warehouse storage charges, and other related expenses.

Filing a chargeback due to shipping delays without proper cause is considered fraudulent. Legal action may be pursued in such cases to recover losses and protect our business operations.

How To Prepare For Delivery

Upon receiving your item(s), it is essential to inspect the packaging for any signs of damage. If damage is observed, it must be documented when signing for delivery. Failing to note damages at the time of delivery may limit our ability to assist with replacements.

In the event of damaged items, please email photos of the damage, the packaging, the SKU, and a brief description to support@wrenchyard.com within 24 hours of delivery. Any visible signs of external damage, such as punctures, must also be reported within this time frame. Damage not reported within this period will result in a denial of return or replacement requests, without exceptions.

Damaged Items

It is your responsibility to inspect delivered products for any damage or defects and notify us via email within 5 business days of receipt. Failure to report damage within this timeframe will result in the denial of refunds, free replacement parts, discounts, or exchanges, without exceptions.

If damage is reported within the specified timeframe, we offer resolution options, including free replacement parts, discounts to retain the item as is, or the possibility of a refund or replacement.

To report damage, email support@wrenchyard.com with details, including photos of the damage and the packaging. Please note that we are an online dealer only and do not conduct or arrange repairs for damaged items. To qualify for replacement parts, discounts, or refunds/full replacements, items must remain unused. If you choose to keep the item for a discount or replacement parts, you will have 3 business days to accept or decline the offer. During this time, items must remain unused, and the packaging, box, and all contents must be retained as they may be required for inspection by the freight carrier.

If damage is reported beyond 5 business days from the delivery date, we are unable to provide refunds, free replacement parts, discounts, or exchanges under any circumstances. After this period, claims with the freight carrier or manufacturer can no longer be processed.

Missing Items

If any items are missing upon delivery, you must notify us within 5 business days of receiving your order by contacting our customer service team at support@wrenchyard.com. Be sure to mark the delivery receipt as "missing" and inform the delivery driver of the shortage before signing the receipt.

Please allow a brief period for the carrier to locate the missing items. If the items cannot be found, we will send replacements at no additional cost. Claims for missing items reported after 5 business days from delivery will not be accepted.

We are not responsible for any costs or project delays resulting from missing items. To avoid complications, we recommend not scheduling contractors or starting projects until all items have been received and inspected.

Stolen Packages For Postal Deliveries (FedEx or UPS)

Please note that we are not responsible for stolen packages. If your shipment is marked as "delivered" by the carrier but cannot be located, it is your responsibility to file a claim directly with the carrier.

Shipping Options

Our standard "Curbside Pickup" shipping is always free. Once your order is submitted, delivery typically takes 5-15 business days to arrive at your doorstep.
